BURNHAM OVERY STAITHE

2007 TAX PAID

Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk2 for sale. This is hull number 1000 which was built in 2007 and was displayed at the Southampton Boat Show.
She is powered by a Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel engine connected to a Darglow feather stream auto feathering three-blade propeller. The engine also had the cylinder head overhauled in Summer of 2022. It had a new injector fitted at the same time. The engine has superficial surface corrosion but is in sound order.
The diesel tank was removed and fully cleaned out in the spring of 2024.
Her underwater sections had Copper Coat antifoul applied in 2020.

She has the 2+2 layout which incorporates a V berth forward and two full length berths extending aft. There is a galley area with facilities for a gimballed camping stove. In the forecabin is fitted with a sea toilet which was fitted when the boat was built. She has a cabin table that also doubles as a cockpit table.
Her upholstery is in good order and she has full cabin cushions and a privacy curtain for when using the sea toilet.
The cabin has a large bow stowage locker.
She has a 12v battery system charged from the engine and a solar panel mounted on the coach roof. She is fitted with cabin lights, 12v charging and USB carging sockets.

Her sails, which were new in 2020 and in good order, consist of a slab reefing mainsail and a jib fitted to a roller reefing system. There is a mainsail cover in maroon.
She has the lifting bowsprit, fitted in 2019, which aides with raising and lowering the mast.

She has a Standard Horizon VHF radio with a vhf aerial at the mast head along with a HAWK windvane. Also fitted with a Raymarine i40 Bi-date depth and log along with a Silva illuminated compass.

Overall Mille is presented in clean and tidy order having been kept in good mechanical order.

She also comes complete with a break back galvenised road trailer. Although this is in sound order we would suggest that the trailer is inspected and or serviced prior to making any road journeys.

Skin on frame F1 kayak £1200

This is a Cape Falcon F1 kayak. Made from western red cedar, steam bent English oak, and skinned with ballistic nylon covered in a tough 2 part polyurethane coating. It is approx 14’6” long and 23 inches wide, and suitable for anyone up to about 15 1/2 stone in weight.

Equally at home on quiet estuary back channels, extreme surf and howling winds, glassy high mountain lakes, or long trips down big water rivers with occasional rapids, you’ll be hard pressed to find another kayak that can do so many things so well as the F1.  Comfort, lightweight, maneuverability, quickness, cargo capacity, handling in surf and wind, and most importantly, customized to your exact body proportions, the F1 feels like exactly what it is: a kayak designed by paddlers.  Refined over hundreds of copies, we build more of these than any other kayak.  We’ve omitted useless overhanging ends that are a  hindrance in caves, tight channels, the wind, and your garage, but left the waterline long enough that you can still punch it up to 5 mph when you need to give it some juice.  Optimized for the normal cruising speeds, the combination of lower weight, a flared hull, and a slightly shorter waterline reduces wetted surface resulting in noticeably less paddling effort.   This combination of playfulness and touring capability means not only can you get where you are going, but you’ll have more fun along the way, and I’m pretty sure that is the whole point of being in a kayak.

Reviews of the F1 can be read on the
