The Riddle of Erskine Childers: a festive triple act.

To mark the centenary of the death of Erskine Childers, Richard Heffer, Jim Ring and Ash Faire-Ring tell the story of Childers' extraordinary life and greatest work, 'The Riddle of the Sands'.

Using readings from the novel, revelations about his life, and an appreciation of Childers as a sailor, the trio celebrate the achievement of the man described by Lord Longford as 'the last great Anglo-Irishman.'

Richard is well-known for his audio recordings of both 'The Riddle of the Sands' and its 1998 sequel, Jim is Childers' biographer, and in the autumn Ash set sail across the North Sea to follow in the wake of Childers in the German Frisian islands.

Tickets to this event are £8 including a glass of wine. (concessions for those under 25 and over 65)
